Madison Meyer
Freestyle State Champion 

Coach Madison Meyer started wrestling in 2014 as a freshman at Obra D. Tompkins High School in Katy, Texas. She began wrestling freestyle during the summer and became a 2x Texas State Freestyle Champion. From 2016-2018, Coach Meyer represented her state on Team Texas at National Duals and at the Fargo Cadet/Junior National Championships in Fargo, ND. After becoming the first girl to be a 4x UIL Regional Qualifier and first UIL State Qualifier for her high school, she graduated in 2018 and went on to pursue her B.S. in Biology and continue her wrestling career at Campbellsville University. While at Campbellsville, she was a 3x NAIA Academic-All American, MSC Conference Placer, and the Women's Wrestling team secured 4 NAIA National Championships. 

 

After graduating from Campbellsville University in 2021, Coach Meyer went on to join the Marine Corps as an Artillery Officer and began volunteer coaching for wrestling programs at high schools in Virginia. After transitioning to the Reserves, Coach Meyer and her husband moved to Long Beach, CA. She began coaching for Woodbridge High School during the 2025-2026 season and now enjoys coaching for the Warriors Wrestling Club. She believes that wrestling instills discipline, dedication, and a confidence no other sport can emulate.
